ABSTRACT

To develop a caregiver parenting behavior scale for children aged 2 to 6 years, and to verify its reliability and validity. This study recruited 1 350 caregivers of children aged 2 to 6 years. The item discrimination analysis and exploratory factor analysis were used to analyze the structure, dimensions and items of the scale. Homogeneity reliability, split-half reliability and test-retest reliability were used to analyze the reliability of the scale. Content validity and construct validity were used to analyze the validity of the scale. The results showed that the final scale contained 7 dimensions and 45 items. Cronbach's α coefficient of the total scale was 0.945; the coefficient of split half was 0.899; the test-retest reliability analysis showed that the correlation coefficients between the two tests were 0.893 (total score), 0.854 (social), 0.832 (language), 0.871 (gross motor), 0.893 (fine motor), 0.862 (cognitive), 0.832 (self-care), and 0.872 (sensory). The content validity analysis was carried out by two rounds of expert argumentation using Delphi expert consultation method. The Kendall coefficient of the items score in two rounds of Delphi expert consultation was 0.813 (P<0.01). The structure validity analysis showed that there were significant correlations between each dimension and the total scale, also between each dimension of the scale, and the extracted average variance values of each dimension was greater than the correlation coefficients between this dimension and other dimensions. In conclusion, the reliability and validity of the scale are qualified. It can be used as a tool to evaluate and guide the parenting behavior of caregivers of children aged 2 to 6 years.

ABSTRACT

Aim To explore whether deguelin can block cell cycle and cell migration, inhibit the proliferation of non-small cell lung cancer cells. Methods H1299 cells were treated with 1.562 5, 3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50 μmol·L-1 deguelin for different time(24, 48, 72 h); cell viability was detected by CCK-8 assay, and cell migration ability was tested by scratch assay.H1299 cells were treated with 1.5, 3, 6 μmol·L-1 deguelin for 24 h.Flow cytometry with PI single staining and Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining experiment were used to evaluate cell cycle and apoptosis.qPCR was used to detect the regulatory effects of deguelin and its carbamate derivative on the Cyclin D-CDK4/6 complex at the gene level. Results Deguelin inhibited cell growth and the IC50 value of deguelin was(5.47±0.97),(4.01±0.45),(2.86±0.19)μmol·L-1 when treated with 24, 48, 72 h respectively.Deguelin also inhibited the healing ability of H1299 cells and the migration of H1299 cells significantly(P<0.05).Deguelin could block H1299 cell cycle in G1 phase.Flow cytometry combined with Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining showed that deguelin could induce apoptosis of H1299 cells.qPCR experiments showed that deguelin could down-regulate the expression of CDK4, CDK6 and Cyclin D1 genes significantly(P<0.05).Conclusions Deguelin may regulate cell cycle by down-regulating CDK4, CDK6 and Cyclin D1 genes in the cell cycle regulation system, and reduce the migration ability of tumor cells to induce apoptosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the pathogenesis and prognosis of acute renal insufficiency in children.Method The pathogensis, clinical manifestation, treatment and prognosis retrospected and discussed by analysis of the clinical features of 34 children with acute renal insufficiency hospitalized in 2002-2005.Results Of 34 children, there were 15 females and 19 males, the age range from 16 days to 15.5 years old.Among pathogenesis of acute renal insufficiency, primary glomerular diseases occupied 35.3% and drug-induced acute renal insufficiency occupied about 29.4%.The mortality of drug-induced acute renal insufficiency was 20% of and about 30%(deve-)loped chronic renal insufficiency was 30%.Conclusions Primary glomerular diseases rank the dominant causes of acute renal insufficiency, while drug-induced acute renal insufficiency has poor prognosis. So it is important to treat primary glomerular diseases in early stage and emphasize the side effect of drugs to kidney.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the renal lesion caused by aristolochia manshuriensis kom(AMK) through 2 infants who had used AMK before hospitalization.Method Retrospecting the 2 cases of infants caused by AMK from 2002 to 2003,and evaluating their pathogenesis, treatment, and prognosis.Result Two infants both presented with symptoms of acute renal failure(ARF),and poor outcome. Conclusions Renal lesion in infant caused by AMK is serious. Some medcines, such as glucocorticosteroid, may be useful for its treatment and prognosis.
